- Tens and Hundreds: Multiply the tens and then add the zeros.
- Thousands: Multiply the digits then add three zeros.
- Halve and Double: Halve one number and double the other.
- Nearest Multiple: Drag the answer into the goal.
- Pick the Right Way: Tap the way that finds 15 x 21.
- Split and Add: Add the two parts.
- Four Boxes: Drag the answer into the goal.
- Column Multiplication: Multiply the ones, then the tens.
- Same Product as 18 x 5: Tap a card. Then tap its group.
- Three-Digit Multiplication: Split 234 into hundreds, tens and ones.
- Order the Products: Put the products in order.
- Best Estimate: Round both numbers.
Note for Parents & Teachers
This follows the NCERT Class 5 chapter "The Dairy Farm". To multiply 18 x 5, halve 18 and double 5 to get 9 x 10 = 90. To multiply 99 x 15, find 100 x 15 and take away 15. For 35 x 42, split 42 into 40 + 2 and add 1,400 + 70. Estimate first by rounding, for example 248 x 49 is about 250 x 50 = 12,500.
