Note for Parents & Teachers
This follows the NCERT Class 5 chapter "Fractions". Two fractions are equivalent when they name the same part of a whole, such as 1/3 = 2/6. Fractions can only be compared when they are parts of equal wholes. With equal denominators the bigger numerator is bigger; with equal numerators the smaller denominator is bigger. 9/4 is the same as 2 1/4. Wembley's capacity of 90,000 is a true fact.
