Privacy Policy

GoalWise is currently a static, MVP website with no user accounts and no server-side backend. This policy explains what little data is handled today, and what will change as the product grows.

What we collect today

• Newsletter signups: the email address you submit on the homepage newsletter form is stored only in your own browser's local storage, for demonstration purposes. It is not transmitted to a server.
• Custom worksheet requests: the "Request a Custom Worksheet" form on the Resources page does not currently send data anywhere; it only displays a confirmation message.
• No cookies, no tracking scripts, no analytics are used in this MVP.

What will change

When accounts, a backend and worksheet-progress saving are introduced (see our resources page and the code comments in this repository marked "MIGRATION NOTE"), this policy will be updated to describe what account data is stored, how long it is retained, and how you can request deletion.

Children's privacy

GoalWise is designed to be used by children under adult supervision (a parent, teacher or tutor). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and no account creation is required to use the site today.
