Privacy Policy

GoalWise Kids is currently a static, MVP website with no user accounts and no server-side backend. This policy explains what little data is handled today, and what will change as the product grows.

What we collect today

• Newsletter signups: the email address you submit on the homepage newsletter form is stored only in your own browser's local storage, for demonstration purposes. It is not transmitted to a server.
• Custom worksheet requests: the "Request a Custom Worksheet" form on the Resources page does not currently send data anywhere; it only displays a confirmation message.
• Progress on your device: stars and badges you earn in missions are saved only in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us and you can clear them by clearing your browser data.
• Privacy-friendly site statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how fast pages load. It is designed not to use cookies or to track individuals across other websites, and we do not use it to identify any child.
• No advertising: there are no ads, no ad networks, no social-media trackers and no sign-up. We do not sell or share personal information.

What will change

When accounts, a backend and worksheet-progress saving are introduced (see our resources page and the code comments in this repository marked "MIGRATION NOTE"), this policy will be updated to describe what account data is stored, how long it is retained, and how you can request deletion.

Children's privacy

GoalWise Kids is designed to be used by children under adult supervision (a parent, teacher or tutor). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and no account creation is required to use the site today.
