Note for Parents & Teachers

This follows the NCERT Class 4 chapter "The Transport Museum". To multiply 15 x 14, split 14 into 10 and 4: 15 x 10 = 150 and 15 x 4 = 60, so the product is 210. To divide 324 by 14, take away groups of 14 (10, 10, 1 and 2 groups) until fewer than 14 are left; the 2 left over is the remainder. At home, ask how many wheels are on 15 cars.
