Note for Parents & Teachers
This follows the NCERT Class 1 introduction to multiplication as equal groups. "3 times 2" means 3 groups of 2, so 2 + 2 + 2. Use real objects at home: lay out 3 plates with 2 biscuits each and count together. Football facts used: a goal has 2 posts, a player wears 2 boots and 2 shin pads, and a goalkeeper wears 2 gloves.
